I would say get the doll you always wanted. I remember wanting a porcelain doll that shared my name so badly. She was a ballerina. I didn't get her, but am still searching!!! I am such a sentimental person that I would get the one I have always wanted!!!

[img]wink.gif[/img] Or, if anyone had "make me drool" photos of Felicity and Samantha, too! I love those threads...

Hi all --

I'm thinking about getting a second doll. [img]wink.gif[/img] It really is impossible to be as addicted to this board as I am and not at least entertain the possibility of expanding my doll family!

Problem is, I'm torn between a few. I'm hoping some of you might be able to offer me some advice and even photos to persuade me! Right now, I have #23. Here are my choices for the second doll:

AGoT/JLY #7 (brown hair, blue eyes): Some might say she looks too much like #23. I have fond "memories" of this doll, though. When I was little, she was the one I wanted and asked my mom to buy me over and over and over again.

Felicity: Her stories were the first ones I read when I was little. Plus, she's gorgeous! Love the red hair/green eye combo.

Samantha: I never really wanted her much until I was babysitting last night and saw that one of the girls had her! It was too cute. She made a bed for her out of a shoebox and had the little mini Samantha doll as a doll for her. She's very pretty and elegant.

I would add Kit to that list, but I have a sneaking suspicion that a very generous friend might get her for me for Hanukkah. [img]smile.gif[/img]

Oh, and while I have a thread going here, I'll throw in another question: I mailed something to AG in exchange for a refund check. I mailed the box priority on October 15th. How long until I receive some sort of response? I didn't include a receipt (I purchased the item along with a few others at AGPNY and a customer service rep said that I could mail it back since I live out of town). Think I'll receive a full refund or a credit? I certainly wouldn't mind a credit since I'm sure I'll purchase more AG items in the near future... haha. Okay, I'll quit rambling. Just wondering if someone else here may have been in a similar situation.

Oh PLEASE get #7! She is SUCH a beautiful doll, yet no one seems to get her. She'd also be special to you since you wanted her as a little girl...I may have to get #12 for that same reason. I may have a lot of dolls now, but I still remember wanting #12 as my first AGoT and then not getting her. So...you need #7. And besides, being similar to #23, she can be her sister.

Maybe a picture of my beautiful Ann will help. She's in my signature.

You've wanted her for a long time and I've seen some beautiful pictures of her.

When I send a return back to AG, usually in about two weeks I call and ask about the status of the return. I've never received any information in the mail or by e-mail. It is not even in my account on the AG website. [img]tongue.gif[/img]

Hi Erin!

I recently returned Jess to AG. I purchased her at AGPC. I called CS twice to confirm they got her and were in process. CS told me they are usually about 4 days behind with returns for example today is Monday, so AG is working on items received Wed last week. I sent my receipt and asked for a credit card credit, but AG sent me a check for a partial amount as I got the Whole World Collection. You will probably get a check in a few days. The CS people were super nice about looking in the system to see my return status--I'd call if you have any concerns, then you won't worry about it.

As for your doll decisions, if you think you might be getting Kit as a gift, then I'd vote for #7, since she's a doll you've always wanted. Otherwise, I'd say get Kit because she'd also make a great sister for Ava, with her blue eyes and freckles!

Anyone have anymore "make me drool" photos for the dolls listed above (even though I'm positive you've all convinced me that I need #7!).
